John Golden has embarked on a mission to use his successful medical outcome to help others that may be in the same situation that he was in 2005.
John Golden and Dr. Brian Cole created the LiveActive Foundation designed to generate the much needed funding to advance orthopedic research, education and create awareness for alternative treatments,
therapies and training to allow people to resume an active lifestyle.
John will climb Mt. Everest in the spring of 2009 on his transplanted knee. All donations, sponsorship revenue, and gifts to the foundation will be used to fund much needed orthopedic research and will not be used to fund the Everest climb.
